Caked By Petite is here to serve our clients effectively and efficiently. By implementing these policies for our custom confections, this ensures that you get the cake you desire, and we have the capacity to create it.

NO REFUNDS.

When placing your custom order, please be sure to note that there are no refunds whatsoever. All deposits are non-refundable, all final payments are non-refundable. Some payments may or may not be transferrable. That will be determined under our discretion and scheduling.

CAKED BY PETITE DOES NOT REPLICATE OTHER CAKE ARTISTS WORK, INCLUDING OUR OWN.

We do not make exact replicas of others work. If you send us pictures of a cake that you like, please understand that pictures are only used for inspiration, not to completely recreate. We may use the theme of the cake, but we can not create something another baker has made. Also, when scrolling our designs on social media, we may not be able to recreate something that was made years ago. We may not work with the same materials, such as fondant, so those cakes can not be replicated. We do not work with fondant at all. We like our work. We take pride in our work, and when we’re given creative control, our best work comes to life on your custom cake.

RUSH ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN AT OUR DISCRETION. RUSH FEES INCURRED.

In some instances, we may be able to take a rush order if our schedule permits. With the time allotted, we may not be able to have custom items made per your request. We can only create within our means with rush orders because time has not been given for us to fully create within the capacity that we would like. If we can take your order, we will create the most beautiful cake we can create with the best of our abilities. We have to have full creative control. Rush fee is $50 or more.

DAMAGES CAN NOT BE REAPAIRED ONCE YOUR CUSTOM ORDER IS OUT OF OUR POSSESION.

Once your custom order is out of our possession, it’s all yours. We are not required or obligated to repair any damages that happen. We have taken the most care and concern with your custom order, and we expect our dear clients to do the same.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOM CAKE

Our cakes are exclusively made with our signature buttercream. They must be kept cold. Remember, our buttercream is made from all natural butter, and when butter gets too warm it melts. Please keep your vehicle cold while traveling to your destination. Never leave your custom cake unattended. Never leave it in a vehicle with no air conditioning. Never leave it directly under heat. Never leave it in a warm room. Refrigerate it as soon as you arrive home or to your designated venue. It must be kept cold. Do not remove any objects or décor from your cake until it is time to cut the cake. Once the cake is cut, it should not be refrigerated.

Take the cake out of the refrigerator at least one hour prior to event to get room temperature. If the venue is warm on the inside, remove it 30 minutes before the event starts.

The best way to eat our custom buttercream cakes is after the cake has set out in its designated area to get room temperature. Remember, it is made from butter, and when butter gets room temperature, its soft. We want you to enjoy your custom cakes, so be sure to let it get soft for cutting, serving, and eating.

Our custom cakes can last up to two weeks refrigerated and uncut. Once it has been cut, it should be eaten as soon as possible.
